Java Applet
A spring driven harmonic and damped oscillator is simulated. Please wait until spring and mass images are loaded...
If you use this Applet frequently
or if you are having ideas for further Applets, please send me an email. Thank you!
Instructions
m = |
Mass of pendelum [ kg ] |
D = |
Strenght of Spring [ N/m ] |
k = |
Index of Newton friction (~ v) |
Use the mouse to drag the mass to the
desired position. Click onto "Start" to start the simulation.
Different simulations can be compared by stopping the simulation, changing
the desired values and restarting it without clicking onto "Reset".
A click onto "Rest" completely resets the simulation and cleans
the output.
To change m, D or k, type the desired value into the appropriate
box and confirm with the Return key. Changes of m, D and k are also possible during
a simulation.
The graph visible is the graph of position versus
time. Sorry, that no labels are visible up to now. They will be inserted
as soon as possible (which means it may take some time).
